Runnymede S.C. are the undisputed Champions of the Essex League Division 3 after their formidable performances in the last two rounds. The team have won every one of the four rounds in the competition with a clear lead over their closest rival every time. In the final point table of the division they finished an impressive 7 points clear of the runners-up, Romford Town B.

Club Coach Paul Eveleigh was delighted with the Promotion to Division 2 and the performances of all the swimmers throughout the whole competition and also said " Many of our younger swimmers did very well considering they were swimming in the older age groups and still produced winning performances. A couple of years down the line these swimmers will still be competing in the same age groups and as a club we should be very strong."

There were individual 1^st’s for several of the teams swimmers over the last two rounds including: Aaron Eveleigh Laura Humphreys George Smith Clare Ketley Gareth Henson Howard Clarke Charlotte Davis Verity Goodey Alex Delicata William Muggleton and Paul Hawkridge. Together with some excellent relay team performances all the swimmers involved can be proud of themselves and their achievement.
