Runnymede S.C.

 

Runnymede S.C took a small team of only 7 swimmers to the Borough of Waltham Forest S.C.’s 2004 "Gators" Secondary Age Group Development 100m Meet last weekend and produced some excellent results.

Charlotte Delicata had a superb weekend winning Gold Medals in both the events she entered in the Girls 12 Years age Group. A massive personal best time of 15 seconds in the breaststroke event won her gold in a time of 1.30.92. Then in an exciting and extremely close race with teammate Charlotte Davis in the final of the freestyle won her gold again in a time of 1.11.49 with Charlotte Davis winning the silver medal in a time of 1.11.50.

Charlotte Davis also did well in the Breaststroke event to finish in 8th position and in Backstroke event she finished in 9th place.

In the Boys 12 years age Group Jack Fraser produced an excellent swim in the Fly event to win the Bronze medal with a 5 second pb.

Jack Hudson swam exceptionally well in his age group (11 Years) to produce pb’s in all three of the events he entered winning 6th place in the breaststroke and 7th place in both the freestyle and I/M.

Chloe Davis competing in her first ever competition of this kind swam in all five events over the weekend in the girls 10 years age group and had excellent results including 3 10 second pbs. She finished in 7th place in the backstroke and fly events, 9th place in the freestyle and I/M and 18th in the breaststroke.

Finally Rebecca Drake competed in the girls 11 years breaststroke and finished in 18th place with an excellent 3 second pb.
